LaBaronz

LaBaronz is the new craft IGA beer, conceived and produced entirely in Sicily. The IGA is a very young and innovative brewing style, typically Italian, born in 2006 and officially recognized by the Beer Judge Certification Program in 2015: strictly artisanal high fermentation is characterized by the presence of grape must combined with beer wort. For LaBaronz, KIU was responsible for the naming, label design and communication strategy.

At the IGA Beer Challenge 2022, the first international competition dedicated to Italian Grape Ale, LaBaronz gained third place in the 'Category 1 - Non-acidic, low-alcohol Italian Grape Ale'.
A great result for this Sicilian IGA, produced by the only beer firm in the competition, which conquered the palate of 18 international judges, competing against the other 100 IGAs that took part in the competition.
